Where to fill in VAT number when upgrading from Basic?

Where to fill in VAT number when upgrading from Basic?

Hi! I have Basic and want to upgrade to Plus to get more space, but I can’t see where I can fill in my VAT number before paying. I am a freelance with a Swedish company and VAT number. The problem is that I can’t seem to reach customer support to get help with this without having an upgraded account and I can’t upgrade before getting the answer to my question, so it's a moment 22 situation. Where do I fill in the VAT number, or how can I reach customer support for help without having an upgraded account?

According to instructions on the site: https://help.dropbox.com/sv-se/billing/vat-id I should be able to go to Settings and find invoice settings "Fakturering", but there is no "Fakturering". Instead I find invoice settings under Manage account > Fakturering, but there I only see my card, nowhere to fill in VAT number.

Hi @majcro, and welcome to our Community!

Currently, it’s only possible to add your VAT number, if you’re on a Professional, Essentials, Standard, Business, Advanced, and Business Plus subscription subscription.

You can also check this Help Center article for more info.

However, you can try editing your billing info on Plus with these steps. Your new billing info will show on future invoices.

Hope this helps.

You can only add a VAT number if you're on one of the Business plans, which include Dropbox Professional, Essentials, Standard, Business, Advanced, and Business Plus. There's no way to add a VAT number for Basic, Plus or Family plans.

All that would do though would be to increase the cost of the product by the rate of VAT.

Wel, I am sure your tax account can tell you, what VAT is.

And you will correct your answer.

Let the Lord bless you with wisdom.
