The problem I have is that Dropbox seems to crash when running on an iPAD via the apple files app. If I open an application that uses the files app, such as Pages or Final Draft, when saving to the Dropbox via the files app, it crashes the app and for the next 4 to 5 minutes if I click on drop box via the files app it just doesn’t load.
 
Apple has confirmed this is a Dropbox issue (I raised it with them first), and I have not been able to crash the application(s) using Google Drive via files in the same way. 
 
Can anyone help?

I submitted that ticket yesterday and was contacted by another agent last night. I explained why I opened a ticket and link to this forum. I got a notification this morning that the ticket was closed. Was there a point to doing that??

I got a reply to my ticket from Samantha saying clear Dropbox cache uninstall restart and reinstall. So far working fine but usually takes a bit to fail.

Megan are you still monitoring this?

There are reports of an iPadOS bug that causes some applications to malfunction (freezes, crashes). A workaround is to go into the Accessibility settings and turn on Full keyboard access. I haven’t seen the problem since I did that, but I have not made heavy use of Files yet.

@Andrew55 do you use a physical keyboard?  I don't and I'm having this issue.

Yes, I have only experienced the problem with a Bluetooth keyboard attached.

Same problem here too. It happens only dropbox but all the other clouds (google drive, icloud ect…) work fine…
