Attempting to download the Dropbox app onto my new macbook pro M1 Max and the .dmg does nothing when I click it.

Can you first check that you have all the minimum system requirements to install the Dropbox application on your computer?

If you do, please restart your computer and try again. If it still doesn't work, try from this link instead.

Can you first check that you have all the minimum system requirements to install the Dropbox application on your computer?

Why the H*LL wouldn't Dropbox have a utility or notice FOR THE USER TO VERIFY, before you let us download something that may not work on our system.  Also, MacBook components are well-known and essentially fixed per model release -- it should be easy enough for Dropbox to state what models/years the current version of dropbox is compatible back to, and link to alternate past versions if an older Mac needs a past version.

Same exact problem here with brand new MBP 14". Really difficult to understand how can there be such problems with standard industry tools used together everyday by countless offices and users worldwide. The download link above with offline installer worked. THANKS to universe.
