ho lo stesso problema da questa mattina non riesco più a sincronizzare Dropbox vers. 111.4.472 mi dice impossibile stabilire una connessione sicura. Riesco ad entrare sul sito dropbox.com senza problemi. Mi ha dato anche un errore di data e ora. Se vado sulle impostazioni del programma e vado su Sincronizzazione selettiva mi da errore

I just downloaded the latest client on my pc and installed it again. Same problem. I have followed the troubleshooting: disabled all av, firewalls, checked internet is online. Weirdly, it's only on my desktop PC. I've followed all the troubleshooting tips and I'm now left in the dark. I can access Dropbox.com from my work laptop and another personal laptop on my home wifi just fine so that means my ISP and router are most likely not the issue. Additionally, the problem occurs in both Edge and Chrome, so browsers are out. I've also disabled my firewall and AV, so I'm not suspicious of Norton360...which is also installed on my other home laptop with the same settings. In fact I even added a network traffic exception to allow all incoming and outgoing comms with Dropbox.com. My desktop app works just fine and is syncing without issue. So something must be up with the TCP/IP portion of Windows when it comes to handling transfers through browsers...Google Drive works, so I guess not all data transfers. This is a real PITA since I'm left with the only solution being a full re-format/re-install on the desktop.

Since yesterday, my Dropbox refuses to sync. The message \"Can't establish a secure internet connection\" is displayed. I'm running Windows 10, with ESET antivirus. I tried disabling both ESET and Windows defender, as well as setting the proxy setting for Dropbox to No proxy. With no change.

It does not work with the current 111.4.472 version. Installing a previous version works for some miniutes, then auto update kicks in and it stops working after auto update.

Tried tinkering with everything. Seems my antivirus protection (ESET) has problems with Dropbox. Disabling the SSL protocol in ESET worked for me.

You guys messed up the certificate that rolled out with the latest update and now you blame us.
My system hasn't changed in a while. No change in firewall or proxy. Dropbox just don't work anymore, since it can't connect anymore.
How can we get an updated version, since the internal update won't work, since we can't get a connection to the server?

after upgrade to Stable Build 111.4.472 Dropbox doesn't work anymore on my Windows 8.1 installation.
Error Message (in German): Es kann keine sicher Internetverbindung hergestellt werden -> A secure internet connection cannot be established
After installing the old Stable Build 110.4.458 Dropbox worked until the automatic update process again installed Stable Build 111.4.472.
On windows 10 I don't have problems with the new build.
I also tried to switch off firewall and virus scanner but unfortunately with no result.
Is it possible to stick with an older working version of Dropbox and to switch off automatic updating?

It appears that ESET has fixed the problem that was causing this error.

For anyone running ESET on their device, please update to the most recent version of ESET to update to the software.

Once you've done this, you should be fine to revert back to the latest stable version of the Dropbox desktop app. You can install this from here.
\n\n\n\n
Otherwise, you can just allow the app to auto-update to the latest stable when a new version is released.
