Can't access files/folders in dropbox after deleting from iPad and trying to move to MacBook

I quit using iPad but had some important things in dropbox. After deleting all from iPad and giving it to my husband to use, I was unable to move items on my dropbox on line to my MacBook. On line only has a very few and very old items. Help!

Hi @nvskier, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 

Are you certain you're signed into the same Dropbox account on your computer?

 

Did you delete the files from the Dropbox mobile app, which would then delete them from the site?

 

This will help me to assist further!
