Transferred files show as 0kB and don't open.
My account was over the basic storage space so I downloaded all my files to an external drive. I see that all folders and files names have been transferred but literally NOT one file opens because they contain "zero bytes". I was on 2TB trial and more than willing to pay to recover! PLEASE HELP!!!
My account deleted after 10 years with no warning
Hello— I have used my account since I’m 13 years old , I am currently 28! I log into the app often to reminisce on pictures and files etc. I was randomly logged out and when I went to log in told me my account didn’t exist. I had to sign up all over again and my account is gone . I tried the recovery steps and nothing. I need my pictures back ??? pls help
A bunch of my files went to Zero Bytes on Mac
This issue was posted here like five years ago by a different user and the fix worked for them but I've encountered the issue now and the fix isn't working. Basically, I've got a new Mac, synced all my files from my old Mac but they're mostly showing up as Zero Bytes and they're not openable. I tried going to my preferences->Account->holding down the alt/option key and clicking "Fix Permissions". It prompts me for my computer password, I enter it, it seems to work but doesn't. So I do it again, then I receive the error message in Dropbox: "Dropbox was unable to fix permissions in your Dropbox. Please contact support if the problem persists." I'm on the basic plan, so I don't have access to proper support (bad show, guys) so I'm hoping someone can help.

Cannot find files I thought I'd been saving to Dropbox on my old computer which won't let me in. Had to buy a new computer; on it now but when I login to Dropbox, I don't find my files. I was using OneDrive before, on my old computer. Is that the problem, or likely something else? I also understand that there are two versions, the web and the app? I tried the web, and nothing is there. Help! I need my word processing files back! Those are long novels, one in progress!
I logged in to my Dropbox account today, but my photos have disappeared.
I've had a free Dropbox account for years. I continually get reminders that my storage space is maxed out and I need to upgrade. I've checked my photos to ensure they are still around. Today, I logged in and everything is gone. If I need to upgrade to access things, I will, but I need to know that my photos still exist. Thoughts?Recovering deleted folder not possible + Support not reachable
Hello dear community, A week ago I created a folder that was also listed in my Dropbox Deleted page. When I restored it, I could only see some subfolders (not all), but no files. When I then tried to contact support, the contact option was greyed out. Why is that? Thanks for your help and sorry if this topic has been covered extensively elsewhere.
How do I access my missing photos?
I have the 'Basic Plan' of 2.0GB. I have been informed by Dropbox that I have used 2.09GB of my 2.0GB storage, which is impossible......! Because of this, the photos from my phone have stopped syncing to Dropbox. That I can understand. However, they advise to free up space by deleting files, but 99% of my photos appear to be missing from Dropbox. I was thinking of upgrading, but I won't if they have lost my photos. Any ideas how I can get them back? Thanks.
