The syncing on my headless Linux setup is quite slow.
I am running Dropbox under Arch Linux on a Hetzner server in a datacenter in Finland. Ocasionally I do data processing on the server because it's a fast machine. Sometimes uploads of these changes to Dropbox get stuck. Three days ago, the upload of a single 3.5 MB file took more than half an hour. There was almost no load on the machine, and it has a 1 GBit/s connection. It was just sitting there, and this is not the first time:

What could be the reason? How do I find out more?
I contacted support, but that was not helpful. It seems that there is no proper support for headless Linux installations with only text terminal access.

Hi feklee, and welcome back to our Community.
I did a bit of searching in our system and I could locate your current ticket.
Since your case is being handled by our advanced team, I’d still recommend continuing the support interaction with them directly.
I’ve also gone ahead and left an internal message for them to see and get back to you as soon as possible.
For anything else, I’ll be right here.

Thank you, Nancy! It's not super urgent, but I hope that there will be a solution eventually. It's a recurring issue.

I did get another response from support, but it's as before: no explanation, just the recommendation to reinstall Dropbox
This is completely intransparent. I'm not sure if I should trust my data to Dropbox any longer.
