It gets to the part where it wants to allow access to the microphone and video camera. It hangs onscreen and I have to reboot to shut it all down. I have had to delete the app to stop it starting up automatically.

Could you try uninstalling the app, deleting the installer completely, and using a a different browser to download and install the app?
