If you no longer have access to the email address you used for Dropbox, you won't be able to sign in to the account. In order to reset your password you need an active email address on your account. Without that, or without an active device already signed in, there's no way to gain access to your account without access to the email address on the account.

If it's been more than a year the account could have been deleted due to inactivity. Another possibility is that the password has expired so the one you're entering is no longer valid, in which case you would need to reset it.
