Red dot with white 1 in Windows system tray. How do I get rid of it?
This appears in my Windows system tray and I can find no way to get rid of it.
Have tried reinstalling but that didn't help.
I couldn't see all of the desktop app's window.
Had to adjust the DPI scaling for the app.
Problem solved, thank you.

Hi HairyScot - thanks for your post and happy Monday!
This icon means that there's a notification waiting for you in the desktop app. Have you tried clicking on the app's icon and the bell icon from there to see if you can find any notification?
Let me know and we'll take it from there.
