The payment has been refused after updating my plan to a 30 day trial.
Hi,
When I enter all my payment details, agree to terms and click 'start free trial', I receive the following message:
The payment has been refused. Contact your bank to enable the card for online use and/or re-enter the correct card details again.
Already checked with my credit card provider, they say that the €0,00 transactions to verify are accepted, while Dropbox gives the message above.
I already tried it in multiple browsers and incognito.
Could somebody support me on this?
Thanks!
Hey fielp, it might have had some restriction linked to it.
In any case, I'm glad everything is back on track. Let me know if you need anything else!

Hi fielp, welcome to our Community!
Sorry to hear about that. If you have a PayPal account, can you try using it in order to upgrade?
Also, is the card authorized for online use too? I know it sounds trivial, but have you double-checked all the info that is correct, and up to date? Based on the error, it sounds like it is coming from the card's end.
Let me know more!

Hi Megan,
Checked everything with the CC provider. If PayPal is the only option left I can try that. But I prefer a CC over a debit card/Paypal
