I only have 2 devices but I reached the device limit, why is that?

I’ve had a basic account for years. I recently upgraded my laptop (old one is gone), and lost, then replaced my phone. Now I was unable to get Dropbox to work on my phone. I uninstalled and then down...

    You can delete / unlink old devices from www.dropbox.com/account . Click on security and then you should see all devices listed
