I keep receiving emails about being over-quota, but there aren't any files on my account.

I receive emails from Dropbox telling me my Basic account has reached its limit; however, when I log into my account there are no files there. I have searched in all folders, there is nothing there. I have also tried to locate these files using my laptop account and there is nothing there.

I cannot respond to their emails because it's from an unmonitored mailbox. I cannot call Dropbox because I have the free edition, and their free customers aren't treated with the same care as their paying customers. How can I resolve this if I cannot speak to a live person about it?

I'm tempted to reach out to our state's attorney general to file a complaint. This is just bad, bad business.

    Thanks for posting here, JBird14

Did you also check your Backups page online? Are there any files there taking up the extra space?

Let me know what you find.
