I don't see an option to cancel my plan
I am unable to cancel the auto renewal of the credit card. It automatically took payment and I'd like for this not to happen again next time. There is only option under billing to view the invoices/receipts and to update credit card information, but not to cancel auto renewal.

That's not enough information to go on to be able to assist you.
Why can't you access your account? Are you getting an error message when you try to sign in? If so, what is it? How did you start your subscription? Was it through the Dropbox website or through a mobile device (Apple App or Google Play stores)?
Without details of the problem it's more difficult to assist you.

I CAN LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT. I can see the help policy to cancel my subscription. I can attempt to follow the directions. Upon linking to the designated location-THERE IS NO CANCELLATION FUNCTION - There is only links to upgrade.
The continued refusal to help or honor my request has compelled me to report Dropbox as a fraudulent and corrupt organization.

Just to clarify, you had upgraded your Dropbox account directly via www.dropbox.com, and not iTunes/Google Play, right?
Do you still not see the “Cancel plan” option, even on this page?
If not, I’d like you to tell me what’s the current plan you see there.

I signed up for the free trial, and now I'm trying to cancel before my card is charged I not seeing the option to do so. I tried following the steps 1. Settings, 2. Plan Tab but there is no option that says Tab. I tried contacting support to no avail with the chatbot. Please help.
