How can I redeem the 50% Discount for Dropbox Plus with Adobe Creative Cloud?
I have both an Adobe Creative Cloud and a Dropbox Plus subscription. I recently saw that I could be saving 50% on my Dropbox Plus sub.
It has only recently renewed but as my work situation has changed I need to cut some costs while I seek new work.
I want to keep my subscription but want to take advantage of this offer I'm entitled to.
Could someone let me know if they've been able to do this? When I click Redeem Offer it says I already have a Dropbox Plus plan.
I've been paying for Adobe for 30 years and Dropbox for 15 years.
Many thanks!

Don't worry. I spent 3 days talking to both Dropbox and Adobe support and neither could help me. I went through every department possible. The last agent, from Adobe, told me that this was not a discount that they give, that they could only offer Acrobat instead.
I followed all the steps. I unsubscribed from my current dropbox plan, waited for it to expire, and there was no change, the same error appears "The cash code can’t be applied, please contact sales for more information."
My recommendation is that you save yourself the time and frustration, and continue paying Dropbox at full price, or find another cloud storage provider. I don't understand how a company is not able to offer what it advertises on its own official website. Shameful.

I got email from Dropbox team:
According to my understanding, you are trying to activate the 50% off as a benefit of having an Adobe subscription.
I'm very sorry, but the only Adobe-related discount had expired a couple of weeks ago. It's so funny. Dislike Dropbox for this.

yes, it's messed up. I'm glad I made this post as it's clearly an issue many have had and I'm sure hundreds more who haven't progressed to commenting here.
Hopefully Adobe and Dropbox will work this out so as to retain loyal customers. There are so many other file sharing / storage providers out there. Adobe are offering a deal with WeShare and they have the T&Cs clearly on their site. So to me this seems like it's a Dropbox issue.

I'm having an issue in regards to this, also. New Dropbox user and decided to try it due to the tempting 50% off Adobe offer.
I'm on the Essentials plan. It automatically started with a month's free trial that ends on Nov 6th, even though I just wanted to pay for the year. Found an email that states the charge after the trial period ends is £199.00 yearly. I just looked at the universal Dropbox pricing and it's £199.00 yearly - so my 50% discount hasn't been applied. I can't seem to locate the chatbot on the site either - just keep getting sent around in circles saying my plan doesn't support live chat, yet my plan spec says email/live chat is supported. Confusing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don't want to have to cancel after the trial period as I'm enjoying the software, but feel I've been duped into paying full here.- RichSuper User II

A trial plan typically doesn't include the support options that the equivalent paid plan includes. Probably because people would just add a trial to their account, contact Support, and then cancel the trial without being charged. However, you can still contact Support for billing issues by entering a ticket.
To contact Support, visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.

It's my first time using it, but I keep getting the following error.
" Cash codes are not applicable. Please contact your sales team for more information."
What kind of error is this?

I’ve been trying to get this working now for over 2 weeks. I have lost count how many times I’ve started a chat with sales. I have a basic account. It won’t work. Made a new account using a different browser. Still wouldn’t work. Contact Dropbox via chat. They couldn’t tell me why it wasn’t working. They told me to got to Adobe. Contacted adobe via DM on X.com. They also confirmed they getting the same error. They didn’t understand why. So advised me to go back to Dropbox and asked that I let them know how Dropbox respond. Dropbox sales chat suggested that it may have expired but they didn’t know. I responded to my Adobe DM messages. This back and forth has continued. Adobe have stopped responding to my DMs. It’s really frustrating that you can’t contact anyone in Dropbox tech support if you have a basic account.
…even if its stopping a customer giving them money. The online chat is only for sales. At the very least you would think that the person on sales chat would be able to forward the call on to a tech support person. Frustrating. So that’s the craic.- AGR3Helpful | Level 5
Exactly what happened to me. Very disappointing.

I have adobe subscription, and they have an offer to get dropbox at 50% off. I've decided to take advantage of this offer.
After I click "Redeem Offer", I get an error — "The cash code can’t be applied, please contact sales for more information.".
And I contacted support, explained the situation to them and they just ended the chat with me and turned off the ability to send messages them!
"In this case I will need to redirect you to submit a Help Request to our Support team. Apologies this wasn't something I was able to assist with further as we're mainly here to guide on our Plan offerings, but our dedicated Support team specialize in troubleshooting and will get this sorted for you as soon as possible. You can contact them here: dropbox.com/support Thanks and take care!"
Ok, I go to dropbox.com/support, and what do I see?
It's a joke? Are you kidding me? I want to give you my money and become a customer, but you're mocking and laughing at me.

Thanks for posting your question to our Community, Measle.
Indeed, this promotion with Adobe does exist, however, it cannot be redeemed if you're already on a Dropbox Plus subscription, just like the error message mentioned.
It works for existing users, just not the ones that have already purchased their plan.
Let me know if you have any questions.

same scenario, i cancelled my dropbox which is scheduled to end on Aug 31, 2024. It is September 1 2024, and i cannot implement the Creative Cloud - Dropbox plan. is there any way to apply this promotion?

You'll almost certainly need to wait for Dropbox to downgrade you which can take a few days. It isn't usually instant - especially over a none working day such as a weekend.
Plus, double check the terms don't exclude people who have already been Plus.

You know if this Adobe 50% off offer is around a while or is it a temporary thing? I just stumbled across the same problem, and ended my DB subscription, which will run out in January next year. Plan is to pick up the adobe offer afterwards, but would be nice if this still exists next year...
