How can I delete my hacked Dropbox account to prevent more transactions?

Hello, 

 

My account has been hacked again. I had this issue and was refunded for all the times the hackers used my visa. I just noticed another transaction on October 17th. I was able to work through this matter with a representative last time but now I am finding it difficult to reach out to another representative. I I would like to delete my account to avoid any further issues. If anyone can assist me please help me out!

    Deleting your account won't stop that from happening. If the hackers have your card information they'll just keep using it as long as it's valid. You need to contact your bank.

    You need to contact Dropbox Support directly. Visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.

     


    Dropbox cannot charge you if they don't have your billing information. If you've been charged and didn't give them your billing information, then someone else has and you should be contacting your bank.
