Dropbox tried to charge me twice, but I've already cancelled my trial.

My card has had an attempted charge twice now by dropbox. I have ended my free trial and so I don't know why this is happening. How do I make it stop? Or delete my card? Please help me dropbox.

Hey elisap, welcome to our Community!

Would you mind clarifying if you had started your trial using Dropbox directly? Or did you maybe use the Apple/Google store?

Is it possible that you have another Dropbox account, by any chance?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

I definitely used dropbox directly. I have had another email address I used for a different account. Are you able to check for me if I give you the two emails?

Hey elisap, do you have access to the other Dropbox account, in order to sign in there and check if the charge is coming from it?

Verify Your Subscription Status: To make sure the trial was terminated and that there are no active subscriptions left, log into your Dropbox account and verify your subscription status.

Examine Payment History: To confirm any costs, check your Dropbox account's payment history. This will assist you in identifying any errors or duplicate charges.

Get in touch with Dropbox Support: Speak with Dropbox support to clarify the circumstances. To help them look into and fix the problem, give them any pertinent information (such as your account details and transaction history).

Watch Your Bank Statement: Make sure that any erroneous charges are corrected by keeping a watch on your credit card or bank statements.
