Do I need an annual plan, or a monthly one?

Can you have a rolling month contract or is it a contract for a year? I need to transfer files but only for a few months. I don't want to sign up for a plan and be paying for a year when I don't need it. Could I cancel or downgrade the plan after I have finished without being stuck in the upgrade?

  • Hi PinkOrchid, let's jump right into this!

To start off, yes you can have a monthly subscription with Dropbox, it doesn't need to be annual.

Keep in mind that you can cancel your plan at any time, and the account will then downgrade on its renewal date, without further charges.

If you have any questions, let me know!
