Can I change the currency without losing my files?

Hi everyone, I just moved from Canada to the US, and thus I would like to pay my Dropbox subscription using my US credit card.  According to this discussion (https://help.dropbox.com/accounts...

    Hi curlSloth, thanks for posting on the Community!

    If you downgrade you account for whatever reason, Dropbox will not delete your files no matter how much overquota you are.

    All that will happen is that files will stop syncing for the time you’re downgraded to a Basic plan.
