The Dropbox overlay icons are missing from our company-managed devices.
Hi,
I am managing a few computers with Microsoft Intune.
When I install Dropbox on managed computers, I always check that everything has synced and that it is on the latest stable Dropbox version.
But about 6 months ago the Dropbox overlay icons started disappearing from explorer and the OneDrive icons started appearing instead.
I Tried to change the position in the register so they are at the top, but it did not work.
I Reinstalled Dropbox several times and with different versions.
I have turned off OneDrive on the computers.
So my question is, are there any known settings/policies in Intune that I may have forgotten to turn off/on? Or is there anything else that I may have missed?

Hi AndreasTheMachine! Hope you’re doing well and thanks for posting here.
I'm afraid I'm not really familiar with Microsoft Intune, so I can't provide much when it comes to its settings or something else that could've affected the Dropbox overlay icons there. However, there are couple of things that we can check together first.
When you noticed this issue across multiple computers about 6 months ago, were there any significant OS updates around that time?
If yes, please check out this Help Center article.
Otherwise, I’d like you to follow these steps again and send me a screenshot of what you see on your end.
Let me know how it goes.

Thank you for replying, I have followed the steps in both links but the overlayicons is still missing. :/
The only thing I noticed is that the "ks key" did not exist for me at this path:
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dropbox\ks"Do you have anything else I can try?
Btw I am on version 213.4.4597Edit.
When I use the program Keepass and go to "open file" the file explorer shows correct overlayicons. Tried the same with Word and Excel, they do not show up there.- NancyDropbox Staff
Thanks for updating me, AndreasTheMachine! Can you clarify what’s the current syncing status you see on the Dropbox app?
Other than that, you can also give these steps a go.

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the app by any chance AndreasTheMachine?
What about signing out of the app, and then back in?

Yes, tried reinstalling it several times.
I tried to logout and back in again now, but no success.
