My Windows 10 desktop app is stuck on "Updating Dropbox account..." after starting a trial.
A few weeks ago, I decided to sign up for a trial of a higher plan. Unfortunately, once it started, I got logged out from my Desktop App and cannot sync any files since then. I only see the message "Updating Dropbox account..." all the time.
I can log in via the Dropbox website and via my phone but cannot even log into the Desktop App.
The Dropbox folder disappeared from the Windows Explorer (however, I can access it thanks to a shorcut to one of the subfolders, but in an offline mode only). I use Windows 10, Dropbox v206.4.6506, and have only 4 GB of data in my Dropbox.
I have read other topics on the similar issue. I cancelled the trial straight away, rebooted my computer, tried to log out and log in on all my devices, uninstall the App, reinstall from my old installation packages, uninstall the App, reinstall from a fresh download. To no avail.
Any idea what else I could do?

Hey @unefee! This is interesting indeed, so let’s take a look.
First off, can you send a screenshot of what you see exactly when trying to sign in to the desktop app?
I’d also like one more screenshot of the filepath you see when opening the Dropbox folder in your File Explorer.
Let me know when you’re ready.
