Onlines vs physical space

With the free account, I have 8GB space online, but only 2GB physical.

How does trhis work with synching? Does only 2GB sync? Which 2GB out of the 8GB, the ,ost recent files?

Hi paddyb, most likely you have referral quota or extra space granted on your account from another promotion.

Could you check on this page to see if you've earned space on the account?

What, exactly, do you mean? With any account, the space you have is the space you have. There is no difference between the amount of data you store online and the amount of data you store locally, aside from any available space on your local drive. If your account has 8GB of space then you can store up to 8GB of data both locally and in your account online.

      Thanks for your reply.

Perhaps I have 8GB space then? But there doesn't seem to be an 8GB plan? When I over filled the 8GB, it asked me to upgrade, and showed me a screen saying I was on the 2GB plan. Attaching a screenshot showing the 8GB. I'cve deleted files now, so I can't get the screen up thast tells me I only habve 2GB
