Earned bonus space reduced when I downgraded account
I downgraded from Dropbox Plus to Dropbox Basic. Prior to downgrading, I had 19.75 GB of earned bonus storage space. After downgrading, I only have 14.75 GB of earned bonus space. Prior to doing the downgrade I chatted with Dropbox Support and asked whether there would be any change to my earned bonus space when I downgraded and I was told that I would not lose any bonus space when I downgraded my account.
Is there something I might be missing? Why would my earned bonus space have been reduced by 5 GB when I downgraded my account? (And of course, now that I have Dropbox Basic, I cannot communicate with Dropbox Support regarding the issue!)

Are you referring to bonus space earned by referrals?
If that's the case, your referrals are actually worth different values, depending on your plan.
Each referral on a free account is worth 500MB instead of 1GB, when the account is a paid one.

Under "Refer a friend" on my Dropbox Personal Account page I see that my "Total bonus space earned" consists of "From referrals" (5 GB) and "Other ways you've earned" (9.75 GB). I had not been aware that referrals have different value for different plans. That would explain the difference, however. because based on what you said, the 5GB for referrals on the Basic Plan would have appeared as 10 GB when I was still on the Dropbox Plus Plan, which accounts for the 5GB difference! ... It is unfortunate that the Dropbox Support person I chatted with was not able to tell me of that difference.
