Uploading a Folder to the Cloud
Hi, new to Dropbox, so bear with me....
Previously, I have "Shared" certain files via Drop Box to a list...
Now I want to allow Dropbox to upload certain Folders to the Cloud so that I might be able to share them to "my family" (or some Group)...
I have a "Drop Box Folder" on an External Drive, and I'm pushing files / folders there...
But I dont see an "Upload Folders" option in Drop Box... I assume I can modify the "Share to" list when it gets updated....
Also, if I change the filter on my PC that syncs files to the "Drop Box Folder", will the upload propogate "Deletes" as well?

Hi richsilv, thanks for messaging the Community!
When you move files and folders into the Dropbox folder, if the Dropbox desktop application is running and syncing normally, the files will appear on the site. This will allow you to share them to other people if need be.
Any changes made to files in the Dropbox folder, including deleting them, would delete them from the site.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
