Syncing doesn't start automatically on Windows
Hi,
It's been a couple of months now that the dropbox app doesn't start automatically on my windows computer whereas it should and it did before. I checked the autorisations, firewall and antivirus, list of apps starting with the computer, I also reinstalled totally dropbox app but the problem isn't solved.
My neighbour has the same problem by the way.
Can you help me please ?
Thanks

Hey there sophusb - sorry to hear about your syncing issue.
Could you clarify your computer's OS version, and the version and status of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your system tray?
Have you ensured that the option to start Dropbox automatically is toggled on in the app's preferences?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there.

Thanks for your reply. My OS is Windows 11 Family, Version 23H2, installed in march 2023 but the problem occurred about 3 months ago only. The problem is that the dropbox icon isn't in the system tray whereas it is set to indeed start automatically when I start my computer. Once I start it, it synchronizes properly.

Thanks for the update here, sophusb.
Can you try a more advanced reinstall of the Dropbox app, to see if that helps?
