sharing individual videos from DB to add hyperlink to excel doc to send to customers(best way to do)
I need to create a word doc or excel Spreadsheet with each line we cleaned for customer & we have (3) diff CCTV systems used to capture footage of it that showws any issues/proof of cleaning. I now need to create a report to send to customer ASAP however i inserted links that I copied as a path from my file explorer (go figure no one else can view them i forgot thats the wrong path to use) they are all saved on our dropbox however its taking 5+ minutes to create a link to share 1 of the CCTV files and theres alot of them. How can i quickly take each video and insert it into either word doc or excel sheet and have the customer be able to view them without waiting forever on each file a million times? Any CCTV report extensions? apps? dropbox sharing tricks?
i need people from outside our organization on our DB business account to be able to see the videos when clicking the link

Hey ambern1023, thanks for dropping by our Community!
I'm afraid there's no way to export shared links for files in bulk at this time. You'll need to navigate to each file separately and create a shared link with view rights for each of the files/entries in your spreadsheet.
That said, you might find something helpful offered by Zapier and its Dropbox automations.
I hope this helps a tad!

can i just copy the drop box link that is next to the 3 ... without actually sharing each file indvidually then selecting that link? (also what if i made the folder be an open folder for anyone to access? can i then just use the dropbox link? without physically clicking share, wait for the link then select it etc)

When you say next to the 3, what do you mean exactly ambern1023?
Could you maybe provide some screenshots so that we can have a visual too?
If you shared the folder directly with them , then they'd be able to access the folder and the files stored in it, but shared links would need still to be created for the entries in your spreadsheet (for them to get taken directly to the files your shared links point to that is).
