NFP group with large files. Creating storage problems for committee members
Our NFP group (an annual festival) pays for Dropbox as a place to centrally store all the files and images for the annual festival. We are all volunteers. However, if I add all our images (currently...

Hi frillypants, let's jump into this!
The first question, that I'd like to ask is the plan used by your NFP. Provided it's a paid account, I'd guess that it has enough available space, in order to host these files, right?
You can definitely share the content from your account, to theirs. Once that is done, they can choose to share the content with other members or not.
However, a good alternative (if they don't want for others to fill their Dropbox accounts) would be to use shared links. That way people can view, and download the content without having to add it to their Dropbox account.
If you have any questions, let me know!

Thanks for that. By 'shared link', are you referring to shared link to documents/images or to folders?

Hey frillypants, sorry to jump in here!
You can create links for both files and folders.
If you're sharing multiple files with the same people, it'd be better to create links to the folders, so when clicking on the link, the recipients can access all the files in the folders without them taking up space in their accounts.
Just make sure to create "can view" links, as the "can edit" ones still require space.

Thanks so much for jumping in. Don't apologise!!
I think this new understanding will help a lot!
