Incompatibility with firefox.

When uploading files via the web, sometimes the upload reaches "1 sec" and gets stuck. I have contacted Dropbox support and they have suggested that I use a different browser. I have done it and it has worked perfectly. What happens is that I always use Firefox and I would prefer not to have to change browsers for these operations. I contact you to ask you to please optimize the Dropbox service for the Firefox browser. Thanks.

  • Hi dufpearl, thanks for posting on the Community!

There shouldn't be any issues with Firefox in particular.

Could you try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely, to see if this helps?

Keep me updated with any progress!

It's your ad-blocker doing it's job, probably. The default filter list (in uBlock, for example) includes the upload scripts in their list of telemetric trackers.

    Make ad-blocker exceptions to these:

    dropbox.com/log/web_user_action

    dropbox.com/log/web_upload_action

    (and maybe this) dropbox.com/alternate_wtl

Dropbox, why are you tracking your customers? Why is my adblock redflagging you?
