I can't share any file, getting "banned member" error
Last few days cannot share files, keep getting message "banned member". Why is that? I don't have large traffic, antivirus doesn't see any malware, don't send invites at all, files are my so no copyr...
- 12 months agoIt is working now, thanks! But still don't know what triggered ban to avoid similar situations in future.

Hey there mikrostil - sorry to hear about this.
It sounds like your shared links may have been banned. How long has it been since you first got this error? Did you receive an email from Dropbox informing you about this perhaps?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there.

Few days... maybe 5 days or so. No, didn't get any mail from dropbox lately except few months ago a message that my space is running low (solved by deleting some unneeded files).

Is this the first time you get this kind of error or you had one in the past as well mikrostil?
- mikrostil12 months agoHelpful | Level 6Yes, had that problem before, maybe 2 or 3 times in last few years and one of them was recently. But this error only lasted for short period, maybe a day or so and "repaired" by itself. I noticed exact time when this error occurred this time. I had folder with diverse printer drivers i use, shared it and start downloading on another pc but noticed it is too slow. Zip file was 1gb so i abort downloading in a minute (stick was faster). After that i can't share any other link. Also i deleted printer drivers from my dropbox but it didn't help.
