'Error (404) We can't find the page you're looking for. '

When I try to assess some links that are written in a pdf file by copying & pasting the letters and entering, I see the following message by Dropbox. 'Error (404) We can't find the page you're looking...

    Hi there, this message means that the file the link is pointing to has been deleted from that Dropbox account, or the link itself has been deleted.
     
    You’ll need to contact the owner of the file for them to restore the file or create a new shared link for you to access the file again.
