Dropbox transfer expiration date set to 7 days by default all of a sudden

Dropbox transfer has changed the default download expiration to 7 days. In the past, it has been 30 days, then for some reason, it went to 45 days, and then this past year, the default was a year. I have never changed that date, nor can I figure out how. What I do need is for the default to become more than seven days. Does anyone know how to change the default? I know how to change the expiration date every time I make one, but I don't want to do that for all that I do. I want the default to be more days.

There doesn't appear to be an option to change the default. If you need a longer window, you'll need to change the expiration each time you create a transfer.

admin this needs to be changed. Users should be able to set a default expiration date for transfers. I've got links expiring all over the place and tracking them down is not a pleasant activity.
