Removing "PC (2)" from Dropbox

Hello,

I'm trying to remove files from my dropbox to get more storage, and there is this file (perhaps a backup I accidentally set up) called PC (2). Inside it is a Documents folder. It is not the same as the Documents folder which is under This PC, as that one has a different location (C:/Users/user). The one in my dropbox has the following location: C:\Users\user\Dropbox\PC (2). So can I delete this PC (2) or will I end up deleting my actual PC?

Update: I deleted PC (2), lost all my Document files (which is fine since they weren't important), and now PC (2) has re-created itself. How do I delete it without it auto-creating another one?

      Hi Marc0_,

Just turn your Dropbox Backup off.

You have set Dropbox Backup feature that results in move of selected folder(s) into Dropbox folder. On the original place is no more folder (as you think by mistake), but a link to the actual folder - the one residing in your Dropbox folder. That's why you see the same content and when removing the folder, its content gone on both places (it is just the same thing). Turning the Dropbox Backup off or removing selection of desired folder there will get back the folder(s) on the original location and will remove it/them from Dropbox (without explicitly delete).

      Hope this helps.
