error uploading images to drobox paper
dropbox-paper is very helpful for me!
but now its making problems', its not uploading true images.
here is a screen shot:
- It's possible that this could be the cause of what you're experiencing.
Unless you get access to a stable WiFi connection, I'd recommend uploading to your Dropbox account directly and then adding the files to your Paper doc from there.

I'm currently unable to upload images to my Dropbox Paper. Below is the error message that kept showing up.
I've been using Paper for months and this is the first time I've had this issue. I'm connected to a high-speed home wifi that is stable.
Is this a system-wide issue? Could the support team look into it, as I cannot make any progress on work at the moment.

I create a Dropbox paper and add pictures.
I did it by different ways - PrinScreen and paste to the Dropbox, using Drag-and-Drop, or just 'Inser image' command.
Everything worked well. But today I cannot do that anymore - I get the error message:

Same here
When I opened up the browser DevTools, it said:

Could you try using another browser to see if this helps when uploading or viewing images in the Paper doc?

Hi there,
At the moment I am writing my graduation report in dropbox paper. It went well for a while but now I look back at my files and I see that all images give an error (see screenshot). When I click on the link of the file I get to a webpage with the message: "Access Denied". This project is very important to me.
Thanks for the effort,
Sjoerd

I am unable to insert any image on a Dropbox Paper page and have it remain visible for more an a second before it disappears and is replaced with the message, "Couldn't load preview". To keep things simple, I tried this using a small (164 KB) JPEG headshot of myself. I can reproduce this.
Details:
- macOS 12.5.1
- Browsers tested: Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Brave
- Cache cleared
- Signed in to Dropbox either with my work account (Okta authentication) or personal account (basic 2-factor authentication)
- Not on VPN
What happens: After I use the Insert Image button on the task bar, I navigate to the JPEG (in my regular Downloads folder, which is not synced to Dropbox) and select it. It appears for a second (top screen shot) and then disappears and is replaced with an error message (bottom screen shot). This happens with JPEGs and PNGs. When I click the link in that error message box, the image downloads — so it's being stored somewhere on Dropbox.
Curious side note: My image file has no spaces in the filename, but if I do put a space in the filename and try this, clicking that link in the error message does not download the image; instead, the following XML code appears:
<Error><Code>AccessDenied</Code><Message>Access Denied</Message><RequestId>B2Y5NWC20CMTEFSF</RequestId><HostId>krirxYrehece/KsbOTczmE5h3BnY7QhrdIem5xJfY0mBPN2QslNYQDMMKGCnNPeE4CvQ9eszTJ8=</HostId></Error>Not being able to add any image to my Dropbox Paper pages is proving to be a huge disappointment.

thanks for trying helping me!
How large are the images you're trying to upload into your Paper doc? regular. its the same pictures from another time.
Are you able to instead upload the images to your Dropbox account directly, and then add the images from there? yes its worked. its a good idea to keep my work. but why its not uploading direct from my computer?
maybe its because I change my internet to a hot-spot that worked little slowly?
- JayDropbox StaffIt's possible that the upload speed was slow if you were using a hotspot during the upload process. If you connect with a stable WiFi connection, do the images upload normally?
