Printable PDF version has different layout to the original online word document.

When printing from Microsoft Word Online, it automatically offers a downloadable PDF version of the document for printing. However, the layout/formatting of the PDF version is different to the original document. The document does not convert to a pdf that appears the same and once it is a pdf, I can not edit the formatting.

The only way I can see to get a document that print to my desired formatting is by 'reverse engineering'. IE. download a copy; guess how much to change the original layout so that it will appear how I desire in the PDF version; test and adjust over multiple downloads until it is just right; then print. This seems convoluted.

How can I print a word document where the formatting is not altered in a way that I can't edit?

Hi Tellurian, let's jump right into this!

Does this happen with all of your files, or just some of them?

Would you mind sending over a few screenshots of what you see when trying to print the content, in order for me to have a visual too?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!
