Suddenly I can no longer Export my DropBox files to any format: Markdown, PDF, etc. Every time I try to export, I keep getting stuck on the screen with the little wizard that says "Waiting to start..." but my file never actually exports. I've had this issue for about a week now, and other coworkers on my team have as well.33Views0likes5CommentsDon't delete folder info and provide an export option for the data

Please implement a possibility to export all data to another Cloud Service, just like Google did it with Google Takeout. For me flexibility is really important and so I don't want to use a Cloud Service, where I have to stay until I die if I can't or don't want to download all my data – which is with data from about 2 TV very difficult – and upload it to the other Cloud service…30Views0likes1CommentUnable to export multiple images from Dropbox to another app at once (three or more images)

When using the mobile app, it would be great to have a download notification/progress bar. I usually download videos which take a minute or two to download but, I am sat waiting until I see the 'Exported' notification pop up. Hello! I am having some difficulties exporting images to my tablet. I was able to do it on multiple times on the weekend but this evening it doesn’t seem to be working. The steps I follow are: Click Select Click Select All Click Export Click Export to files It then goes through the export and once it reaches 100% nothing else happens, on the weekend I would select the location and it would be done. i tried updating, logging out and restarting my iPad all without success. I also tried other files and re-downloading in case it was a file problem and still nothing. I did attempt sharing the folder but I received a message saying I need to verify my email and when I click re-send the email never goes through. I checked my Junk folder and made sure the correct email was entered. if it helps I have the basic free version and have very little space used. Any help would be appreciated34Views1like3CommentsExporting an Excel file as PDF from the MS app, it shows as 0kb with a timestamp of 55 years ago.

Summary: I’m trying to figure out how to create a usable zip file out of files that have non-ASCII filenames, so I’d like to find out what zip tool Dropbox uses when I download a folder from Dropbox. Background: It turns out that most zip-file-creation tools cause problems when you try to zip a file that has a non-ASCII filename. But when I download a folder from Dropbox that contains files with non-ASCII filenames, the folder arrives on my computer in the form of a zip file that correctly includes those files. So whatever tool Dropbox is using (internally) to automatically create zip files for download is doing exactly what I want to do. Workaround: If I want to zip a folder, I can upload it to Dropbox and then download it. That works, but it takes a lot of bandwidth and time. Question: So I’d like to find out what zip-file-creation tool Dropbox is using to create zip files for download, in hopes that I can use that same tool (or something similar) on my local computer, to be able to correctly zip non-ASCII filenames without having to upload and download to and from Dropbox. So do any of you know what Dropbox uses to create zip files for download? thanks, —JedSolved163Views0likes4Comments
