It would have been great to simply move the files in DpBx directly to a backup, a two way would be even better! This would save days of down and up load of the same files.
Another related question is; can the external SSD drive also be synced to DpBx?

Dropbox StaffThe Dropbox Backup feature can backup external drives to the site directly. The backup would be one-way and would only be visible from the site.
Dropbox is really the worst service to use for backing up audio files or any media. They make it extremely slow so you don't move the files locally. I am in the process of deleting all my audio from 10 years and starting from scratch. I'm also working on moving away from DB altogether. It is an exploitative platform.
