Dropbox Chooser responds with "Failed to Load Request"

When I try to choose a folder from the Chooser, an error notification appears saying "Failed to Load Request." This particular folder is from a team space and has permissions set on it so that only certain teammates can access it. When I select other items in the Chooser that are either in my personal space or have team-wide permissions set, I do not get this error message. In my Chooser options object, I have multiselect and folderselect enabled, and I am also using extension and sizeLimit to filter out unwanted items. I also have callbacks defined for select, cancel, and error.

    Hello jadong,

Based on the information you have provided, you are selecting and choosing a limited access folder that is causing the error message 'Failed to Load Request' with the Dropbox Chooser.

As the folder has limited access, you shouldn't be able to choose it as an option with the Dropbox Chooser, hence the error message. That said, I have reported this issue to the engineering team to enhance the error handling for this scenario.

      Hi,

I won't be able to select it at all? Even if I am one of the teammates that has the permissions to access the file/folder? If so, would it be possible to just hide these items from the Chooser's view completely?

We've sent this along to the team to request they improve how this scenario is handled in the Chooser.

If you're signed in to an account that does have full access to the folder, then you should be able to select it. If that's not what you're seeing, double check what account you're signed in to, as well as the permissions on the folder(s) you're trying to select. If that's not working as expected, feel free to open a ticket from the relevant account and show us the problem you're seeing so we can look into it for you.
