Basic Account

Hi team,

is my understanding correct that with the basic account I can have 4 files up on Replay at the same time? Or is there a limit of upload 4 files max and then I need to upgrade (kind of testing Replay with 4 files and then no more)?

I'm asking because I get an error in Davinci "upload failed" and there's this sticker:

(Video was upload from file system, not Resolve)

Regards,

Oli

    Hi Oliwend,

Apologies for the delay and thank you for your patience!

Your understanding is correct that, as a freemium user, you are limited to up to 4 files at a time. The one exception to that rule is that files uploaded during Replay's beta period, which ended last April, do not count towards the 4 file limit. For users who signed up during the beta, files which are counted against your freemium quota will show that yellow Dateilimit badge, differentiating them from beta uploads, which do not. Hopefully this helps to explain any discrepancy, if you happen to be seeing one.

As far as the Resolve integration is concerned, what you're seeing is the expected behavior. If you attempt to upload a render after your file limit is reached, the upload will fail with an Upload failed message in Resolve. Deleting one of the files counting against your freemium quota (those with a yellow badge) should unblock you from re-processing that upload.

Please let us know if anything is still unclear here or if you have any further questions.

    Hi Oliwend,

I hope you're well and I'm delighted to see you're back in the group and making the most of Dropbox Replay. I just wanted to let you know that this is being looked into by the Replay team and someone will be back to you with an update soon.

Now that you've had a few weeks to get more up top speed with Replay, how have you been finding it? Aside from the 4 file limit that is. Has there been anything that has really stuck out as something that work particularly well? I'd love to know your thoughts.

Thanks again, and have a great weekend!

    Graham
