Guys, I've noticed a bug on Dropbox Client on Ubuntu 23.10 and the same occurs on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS after a installed it from scratch on my machine. It's really a bug on the app on desktop. The problem is: the app on system tray doesnt open or show anything until the system is blocked to block screen and returns putting password. After that it works normally as it should. Using Dropbox (version 212.4.5767) on iMac (OS X Ventura). App works fine. But when I pull down the menu from the Dropbox icon in the menu bar, it *always* says "Syncing 4 files" I have no idea what these files are. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Dropbox app. And still the 4 files are syncing 24/7. When I "view sync issues" it gives no info. Hello, My Dropbox app on iPad is not syncing with my Windows 11 desktop. For example, when I open a mind mapping software that I use (Xmind) and try to open a mind map that I saved in Dropbox desktop: beside the Dropbox icon, there is a circle formed by two arrows with an exclamation point inside of the circle. I cannot find any information in Dropbox support files on this specific icon. I am guessing it is indicating some sort of sync issue. I'm trying to debug a problem a user of my macOS application has, where it won't read files on an external drive handled by Dropbox. The files are in `~/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox/`, which I assume means that she is using Dropbox with file provider support. I'm not a Dropbox user myself, but I'm trying to replicate her setup in order to investigate the problem, so I've downloaded the Dropbox app and signed up for a free trial. However, when I try to activate File Provider support, it says “You are not eligible for the new Dropbox for macOS on File Provider at this time,” without giving a reason. This is on a 2020 M1 MacBook Air with Sequoia 15.1. Does anyone know a way to get around this? And even better, does anyone have an idea why my app sometimes is unable to read her file?100Views0likes8Comments
