Anyone else having this issue? When I go to the "camera uploads" folder on the desktop browser interface, if I scroll down one or more screens, then it immediately jumps back to the top of the page. Therefore I cannot scroll down, and cannot access any photos that do not appear on the first page. I'm using chrome Version 132.0.6834.160 (Official Build) (64-bit). I tried clearing my cookies and that did not solve it. I also tried in chrome incognito mode (no cookies) and that did not solve it. Also tried in Firefox version 134.0.2 (64-bit). Since chaning to a mac mini pro, dropbox has stopped syncing with the new device. Some files started to sync, but now after a couple of months most folders are unsynced and files unavailable locally unless I use the web interface. Sequoia 15.3 build 24D60 Dropbox Version 216.4.4420 (216.4.4420) The app states 'You don't have any sync issues' yet it also shows 104,333 files yet to sync51Views0likes8CommentsSuddenly slow upload speeds
As of today, I am getting incredibly slow upload speeds. It is currently maxing out at about 50kb/s and most of the time it is lower. I typically get 5+mb/s. Nothing on my end has changed and it was working fine just a few days ago. I’ve already seen multiple help threads talking about bandwidth limits but I have my account set to unlimited. Problem is consistent whether I use the desktop app or web browser. Any suggestions? Most of the other threads I can find are from a year or more ago and don’t end in conclusive fixes.Solved8.7KViews1like16CommentsHow can I stop the Dropbox Transfer window from staying on top of every other window?
This has become a huge annoyance and didn't used to be like this and I don't understand why Dropbox even has permission to do something like this on my computer. Leave me alone and upload my transfer in the background. Yes, I can minimize the window, but I had a nice system where I just let the window go behind currently in use windows and then it would pop up when ready. I'm just tired of dealing with this. thank you17Views0likes1CommentOnline-only settings not available under my app's preferences. What can I do?
I have Dropbox plus with V216 on windows 10 and options for online-only and smart sync do not appear under the sync tab of preferences dialog, I am only shown an option to correct incompatible characters for file names. I have tried restarting and reinstalling Dropbox but problem persists. At the moment, every folder I sync is available offline on my desktop and I am out of space.40Views0likes5CommentsI have two Dropbox folders on my Windows machine
I somehow have Dropbox in two locations C\Users\Doug\Dropbox (190GB - 302456 files - 22,746 folders) AND D\Dropbox (2.73GB - 290 files - 18 folders) When I went to the dropbox icon in the task bar\clicked my avatar\Preferences\Sync Tab\Move but when I did it showed the location as the D\Dropbox location. What I want to do is move the C\Users\Doug\Dropbox to the D Drive but do not know to do so as it is not an option under the Sync tab - Move. Would appreciate any help getting Dropbox moved from my C drive to the D drive. I am using Windows 10. Thanks!29Views0likes3CommentsDouble-click on the Dropbox icon opens the Dropbox folder with ALT enabled
Since days ago I have an strange behavior: If I double click the dropbox try icon (Windows 10) the dropbox folder opens maximized, this is the normal behavior, but some days ago this changed: now the dropbox window opens maximized, and immediately it is restored like you press maximize button, so the window changes its size and position, and then the keyboard shortcuts appear in the menu bar like I pressed the ALT key. This is so annoying, how can I restore the normal behavior? Is this a bug?123Views1like13CommentsOpening the Dropbox folder enables Num Lock.
Hi, I have a weird little problem. Every time I open the Dropbox folder (double click on the icon on the task bar), there's a Windows notification popping up that Num Lock has been enabled. This only started happening after I upgraded my Windows 10 to 11. Any ideas how to fix this?211Views2likes19Comments
