Can my team receive a file request email when a document is added to a shared folder?
Hello, I shared a folder with my team and want them to receive email notifications. Everyone has access to the folder, but no one is receiving email notifications. I checked their notification settings, and all the boxes are checked just like mine (I, as the owner, receive notifications). What is the next step I should check for?
Permanently dismiss "editing is locked for this file" notification
Recently, every time I open a colleague's spreadsheet, I get this notification. I access this document every day. I NEVER need to edit it. So dismissing this notification every single day is extremely irritating. Is there any way to permanently dismiss this banner?
How can I re-enable the 'Delete file everywhere' prompt on Windows?
I am a paid user of Dropbox (I bought the 2TB plan some time back). Earlier when I would delete any file or folder on Dropbox using the Dropbox App on my Windows Laptop, it used to ask me if I wanted to delete the file/folder everywhere. Now it stopped doing that. Now the file or folder that I am deleting would just end up in my Windows Recycle Bin. I want to re-activate the "Do you want to delete everywhere". How do I do that???I do not want to see suggestion notifications on the desktop app
Please please stop bugging me with suggestions everywhere all the time! Could we just have a clean interface without constantly being distracted by suggestions of different features. Just put that information in a newsletter that I can opt out from.
"Can't import photos from this device" pop up: add "don't show this again" checkbox
this request is due to a nuisance: i use dropbox to backup the pix from my phone. this popup appears every time i connect the phone to the computer, while the phone is locked. sometimes this pop up appress again a few minutes later for no apparent reason or trigger. connecting my phone might mean i just want it charged, i don't always require an immediate file transfer. the pop up is intrusive and stays on top of everything else. this pop up has no easy closing button (just the system's red dot), and the only options suggested are to "Get mobile app" (which i have, so who's dumb now?!) and "Why dropbox can't import" which leads to your website. but I KNOW ALL THAT, AND I SIMPLY DON'T NEED MY PHOTOS IMPORTED RIGHT NOW. i really do not need this annoying pop up screen. customer support has led me here. please consider letting me dismiss this pop up forever. love and peace, yaneev
