Can my team receive a file request email when a document is added to a shared folder?

Hello,

I shared a folder with my team and want them to receive email notifications. Everyone has access to the folder, but no one is receiving email notifications. I checked their notification settings, and all the boxes are checked just like mine (I, as the owner, receive notifications). What is the next step I should check for?

    Hi cummij

What do you mean by notifications? Dropbox will send a weekly digest email of activity in the shared folder but nothing else. If you want them to know when files are added/edited etc. I'm afraid that isnt something Dropbox offers.

Thank you for your reply. I receive an email every time a file request is completed and shows up in the shared folder. I guess I wasn't using the correct terms. Is there a way my team can receive a file request email when a document is added to a shared folder?

No, file requests send an email to the person requested it and that is all I'm afraid.
