Delete shared links in bulk
Dropbox you are killing me... you give me notifications that we have hundreds of links shared, but no bulk way to remove them. What's worse? While I can delete the thousands that I made over the last 3 years, I CANNOT DELETE FOR TEAM MEMBERS WHO HAVE LEFT. If you give me the warning there is a security issue of shared links, then have a quick resolution for it.
Why is my account out of quota now?
So I have been using Dropbox for years with no problems. All of a sudden, a message pops up that I am out of storage and that I am using 11.31 GB of 2 GB space and it stopped syncing my files. My free account had way more than 2 GB as evidenced by the fact that I was allowed to reach 11.31 at one point. Why all of a sudden am I out of storage? Seems like they lowered the storage space without notification. The minimum upgrade cost is $9.99 per month for 2,000 GB. I don't need that much and don't want to pay that amount when I only need a smaller amount of storage space.
Users don't get an email confirmation when uploading multiple files via file request.
I am trying to enable my users to upload files directly from their iPhones (Files apps) using a file request. When my users upload a single file (in response to clicking the file request link), they receive a confirmation message when complete. When they upload multiple files they receive no confirmation message. In both cases I, the account owner, receive messages indicating the users have submitted files, and the files are located the the correct DB folder associated with the file request. Thank you.
How can I re-enable the 'Delete file everywhere' prompt on Windows?
I am a paid user of Dropbox (I bought the 2TB plan some time back). Earlier when I would delete any file or folder on Dropbox using the Dropbox App on my Windows Laptop, it used to ask me if I wanted to delete the file/folder everywhere. Now it stopped doing that. Now the file or folder that I am deleting would just end up in my Windows Recycle Bin. I want to re-activate the "Do you want to delete everywhere". Hi Guys , Dropbox has been around for years now, I have been using One Drive Private Vault for many years - only reason I switched to Dropbox is because your Vault function is available on Mac Os - For the Love of God you have had so many users Ask you to create a option that allows the user to extend the timer before the vault just closes suddenly , while a user is still working a file! My Lord , all your developers need to do is create a popup banner saying " your vault is about to lock in 1 min ! you want to keep it open for another 5min, 10min or 20min or do you want to lock it right now!. This will most certainly keep many MS One Drive users from staying, What the heck is the issue and why haven't you given us this option yet . I just Spend $137 dollars on your Dropbox Plus version to be treated with the most frustrating feature - considering a refund !!!1 just get it done developers
