Re: Video Files are Downloading Incompletely

Video files aren't previewing normally when downloaded

Someone shared a folder with me that contains 7 AVI files, each of which are about 4gb. The videos play correctly in the web version of Dropbox but each one will not play further than around the halfway point when downloaded. I have tried using a different computer, a different browser, I have upgraded my account to the Pro version and saved locally to the desktop app. Nothing has worked.

Hi @keatonviavattine, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Since the video appears normally on the Dropbox site, and you've also had the files synced down within the Dropbox folder, could you try using a different video player on your computer to see if this helps?

Keep me updated with any progress!
