Is there any way to download my Dropbox Capture videos at 1080p?
Whenever I download a Dropbox Capture, it's a much smaller resolution than what I'm using to record. I have a 1080p camera but when I screen & camera record and then download that video from Dropbox Capture, it's very poor quality. I have a "Business" account.
Hey @Joy17 - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!
Can you please let me know if you're able to preview it normally at 1080p on the website and if this happens with a specific file or all of your captures?
Any additional information is more than welcome!

Hi! I'm not really sure how to check the resolution of the videos as they are on the web. Can you tell me how to do that?
When you preview the capture from your Dropbox account, you should be able to see the quality at the lower right corner of your window @Joy17
Could you give it a go and let me know what you find?

This is very interesting! I have about 120ish Captures. The only ones that show a resolution in the lower right are 480p! What's crazy is that videos created earlier or later that same day (using the same process) don't have a resolution on them 🤔
And does this persist after clearing your browser's cache or on another browser, preferably with no extensions or plugins running @Joy17?

So, looks like I can see more of the resolutions in Chrome than in Safari. AND, I actually found one that says 780p!
Now, how do I get one to 1080p? I'm definitely choosing 1080p as my Video Quality.
Hey @Joy17, have you tried to clear your browser's cache to see if that helps at all?

I will have to test this next week as I'm out on PTO today. However, I'm wondering how the browser cache/history would affect the resolution? Is it because the video is automatically added to my Dropbox account via a browser? Is there any way to direct my videos to be saved on my desktop rather than upload to the cloud?
You can change the location of where your captures will be saved through the Capture app's preferences from the 'Advanced' tab, but still they'd need to go through the Dropbox website anyhow @Joy17
I hope this helps and please keep us posted with any updates!
