I have a DropBox account I use with clients in my medical/legal consulting business. My husband & I are also a members of a professional photography group that is using DropBox for training sessions prior to an annual conference. Our 5 different email accounts all have the same extension [removed per Community Guidelines] and, whenever I try to access the outside dropbox from my husband's email account, the message I get is that I am denied access because the request comes from the major email assigned to the administrator. I also discovered an old gmail account that was a single-purpose account used over 12 years ago and supposed to have been deactivated.
HELP! Where do I go to get help???
Hi @CharlesworthAssociates_LLC, and thanks for posting on our forum.
When saying that your email accounts have the same extension, do you mean they’re all under the same email domain perhaps?
Can you clarify what you mean when saying you’re having trouble accessing the outside Dropbox from your husband’s email account? Can you send me a screenshot of the error you’re getting? Just make sure to hide any email addresses that may be showing before posting your screenshot here.
As for the Gmail account you mention, is it linked to a Dropbox account that you haven’t accessed in over 12 years?
Let me know more info, and we’ll check this further.

Accounts not used within 12 months are automatically deleted. So the account may still exist but all data in it is wiped.
