I signed up to drop box over 10 years ago using a certain email address. That internet service provider no longer exists but I still know my old password. When I tried logging in using my old email and password it said it sent a link to the old email address to reactivate my account.
Obviously I can't open this email to reactivate the account.
I have a basic account.
How do I access my old account or is it gone forever.
*There is no way to access old email. Company no longer in existence*

From the link you supplied;
''I know my Dropbox password but don’t have access to my email address
If you know your Dropbox password but don’t have access to the associated email address, log in to Dropbox then immediately change your email address''
The problem is when I try to log in, it sends a 6 digits code to my old email address which I don't have access to.
Thanks for the reply though.- Nancy2 years agoDropbox Staff
Paddy123, is there any chance you have any devices that are still linked to that Dropbox account (via a desktop/mobile app)?
If yes, please check their notifications as the one-time code may be there.
Let me know how that goes.

Its no good. I have had this problem. I have no devices signed in and no access to email so I have lost all of my photos and videos on drop box as they cant lift the security code to access them.
