I was looking at Dropbox plans last night and kept getting a pop up on https://www.dropbox.com/plans for 25% off Dropbox Plus. When I clicked on the pop up it took me to  dropbox.com/buy/plus but the total had the 25% discount applied.  It was going to be something like $116 for the year. I didn't have time to set it up last night and the promo said something about being valid until august 30 or something like that so I decided to do it today when I had more time but now I don't see the promo anywhere.

I was going to go with Dropbox because it seemed like the best option for the price, given the discount, but without the discount Google drive is cheaper so I might have to go with that instead. I don't understand why the promo said it was valid into august if it was going to be unavailable hours later.

Hi @kjsin1994!

 

Have you also checked your spam/junk folder? 

 

If you can't find anything there, have you checked to make sure you're looking at the correct Dropbox account? 

 

You can always visit the Support page while you're not signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.

 

Once you do, feel free to send me the ticket number reference, in order for me to locate it on my end.

@Megan I do not have any emails. This is connected to my Dropbox account.

I do not have any transactions as I have not signed up for anything. That is the whole purpose of this thread, trying to sign up with a promo and then being offered the regular price.

I am confused what you are trying to do right now. Why can't you just send a private message or something?

Hey @kjsin1994, I have already sent an email to your comcast.net email address that is linked to this Dropbox Community profile. 

 

As for why this is necessary: I'd like to send the case to the appropriate team in order for them to review it, and share more info than we can.

 

Our Specialized agents have more tools in order to assist on their end.

@Megan Am I going to receive a discounted membership or not? There are other threads where people have encountered the same thing, so I don't want to waste time doing this if that is not the outcome.

@Megan I have several emails from Dropbox. What is the subject of the email?

I have NOT paid for anything with dropbox, so I cannot create a ticket at billing. Why is this difficult to understand?

Please clarify. I am confused over this whole process at this point. Can you give just give a straightforward response to my questions please?

I got the email which asked me to reply to confirm it was sent to the right person and I replied but it's been 3 days now with no response. Is anyone actually going to help or is this pointless?
