I no longer use Apple products but my DropBox account was set up a few years ago with billing through iTunes.  How do I go about changing the billing to PayPal?

Hey @SueStreis, if you downgrade, your files will still be safely stored in your account, however, syncing will stop and you won't be able to add new files, if you exceed your free space.

You may simply re-upgrade, to resume syncing.

You need to downgrade via iTunes, wait for it to downgrade (which may be a week or so after the payment fails) and THEN upgrade.

Thanks for your reply, Mark. If I downgrade, what happens to all of my files if they exceed the downgraded max? Should I back them up locally?
