I added some files that conflicted with existing names. It appears to have overwritten the original files. I've tried rewinding to before I made the upload, but it rewinds to an empty folder even though files were present in the folder at that time. What would cause this behavior?

Hey @peregrin, let's jump right into this!

I'm thinking, that might have happened because the file names were the same as the existing ones, but I'm going to have to investigate further, and get back to you about this.

Thanks for your patience!

Hi, Megan,

Yep! Some of the files I uploaded had the same names as the ones that were already in the folder. There were also files in the folder that didn't have the same names as ones that I uploaded. Rewinding just yields an empty folder even though many files were present. Let me know if you need any details, like the folder in question. Thanks so much for your help.

Hey @peregrin, thanks for the update here.

What do you see in your events page regarding the second upload you did?

Also, how did you upload them? Using our website or the local Dropbox folder on your computer?

And lastly, if you look at the version history of an example file, do you see that the upload you made, is shown as another version of the same file?
